Flower Talk

Join children’s book author and environmental educator Sara Levine to expand your learning about pollinators in this interactive and playful program that includes an opportunity to have your book signed by the author! Sara will read from her award-winning Flower Talk: How Plants Use Color to Communicate, narrated by a cantankerous cactus who will teach you how bees, bats, birds, and more seek out flowers based on their colors. Stick around after the reading for flower-focused crafts, a pollination game, and the chance to connect with other nature-curious kids. This program is wheel accessible.

Each registration covers the event and Garden admission for up to four people (one caregiver required per group).
