Introduction to Sedges: The non-Carex Genera
The non-Carex sedges are important ecological indicators and dominants in many wetland systems. The group includes 11 genera—recognizable by macro characteristics—and 80 species. In this class, we'll learn to recognize the genera and develop skills to identify species using keys.
