Introduction to Sedges: The Genus Carex
Carex is the largest genus in New England, with nearly 200 taxa, and occurs in every habitat type. This species is both ecologically important and botanically fascinating. This class will provide an introduction to Carex diversity, basic skills for keying Carex, and field identification.
