Bog and Fen
This field study class will look closely at the flora and the environmental conditions of two very distinct habitats: a rich fen and an acidic bog. We will pay particular attention to the plants that are very specific to one or the other of these habitats and the specializations that allow them to thrive in these communities. Approximately forty-five minutes of travel between the two sites is required.
