How Walks Become Words: Writing About Walking
Writers often draw inspiration from their wanderings on foot, and the act of walking in natural spaces like Garden in the Woods can unearth surprising ideas. This workshop will offer you creative strategies for shaping written work inspired by your walks, including a series of prompts for your own walking journal. Participants will engage in walking and writing activities that encourage close attention to large and minute aspects of our natural surroundings, our individual ways of walking, and more. Writers and walkers of all experience levels are welcome.
