Emerging Trends in Plants, Landscapes, and Land Care
Some people are meadow-scaping, installing all-native plantings, and switching to low-mow lawns. Yet others look at naturalized landscapes and see unkempt plants that are too tall. The lawn care industry continues to grow in many parts of the country. Towns and homeowner associations try to enforce blight ordinances against native plantings. In the meantime, robots and drones are taking on the problems of weeds, insect invasions, and landscape maintenance. Battery-powered equipment is gaining space in garages and sheds. New, safer products are tackling old problems such as grub control. Join this event for a lively "flyover" of a changing landscape.
