Plants 101: Introduction to the Green World
Explore New England’s plant life in this online course. Learn what plants are, how they function, and why they are essential to all life on earth. The course introduces many of the region’s native and non-native plants. How it works: This is an entirely online self-paced course that is open between May 3 and August 2. You may enroll at any time during this period, keeping in mind that it will require about one week to complete. When you register, you will receive an email receipt, followed by another email on the class opening date with instructions on how to access the course. Save the link and your username and password to log in any time while the class is open. The course comprises 5 units, each of which contains readings, assignments, videos, slide shows, and quizzes. After completing the course material, you will be able to return to review completed material. Most of the resources can be downloaded for later use. You also can save links and some other content to access after the course has closed.
