Creating the Artists' Trail Landscape

Landscape Study

Join award-winning landscape architecture firm STIMSON for a landscape experience of its newly completed Artists’ Trail at the Florence Griswold Museum. Since 2016, STIMSON has worked with the Museum to implement a transformative landscape Master Plan that focuses on an expanded interpretation of the property’s history as a farm, while simultaneously restoring lost site ecologies for wildlife and birding habitat. The Artists’ Trail provides visitors with a more authentic sense of the link between art, history, and site ecology. This landscape study will address conceptual design, restoration planting, and construction methods.
