What makes ferns so alluring? In this talk, we'll examine the region’s native ferns and seek to uncover the aesthetics, biology, and ecology that contribute to the fascination. From sea level to the tops of the region's highest mountains, ferns occupy a wide range of habitats and have a host of specialties that build adaptation to place.
