Family Activities at the Garden
Kids love exploring Garden in the Woods, and we have some fun ways to introduce them to the plants and animals that live there. Check out scheduled weekend activities like Plant Play and as well as other special events for kids in our events calendar. See the dates for drop-in children's tours on our Garden in the Woods page, and check for other activities on the For Children & Families page.
Heads up, parents: Adult caregivers must accompany their kids in all children's activities (and they will have a great time too).

Ask a Horticulturist at Garden in the Woods
It's a fact: Plants breed questions.
Now you can stop by the Visitor Center at Garden in the Woods this summer to pitch your plant conundrums to an expert horticulturist. Members of our Horticulture team will be available on the first and third Saturdays of each month from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., June through August, to answer your inquiries. Say hello and chat about all things green and growing on June 7, June 21, July 5, July 19, August 2, and August 16.
